Why does hair have to be such a big part of who we are? Even at birth, first words (except in contravention of births!) were, "wow, look at all the hair!" And throughout childhood, there are comments and activities involving our hair. How much and how little the baby has hair, is always looking for visitors to recall something about the baby's hair story. If it is thick or thin, straight or curly, light or dark .... will be many years dealing with hair!
If there is not enough to tie your hair in a ponytail or add a ribbon, baby's sex are often mistaken. If everyone in the family has dark hair and a blond child, parenting, even called into question. People either do not know, or tend to forget that certain genes can occur several generations apart, but something as simple as your hair color can be a problem in your life!
For boys, the first haircut can be a major event. First, it can be a painful decision for parents. When you do, where to do so, crying when that first "baby rotor is cut off, spending the day sneaking peeks at the little man, because you can not believe how many haircuts" aged "him!
There is also 13 years (or more) SCHOOL scary pictures! No matter how nice smile or eyes that shimmer with youthful glee, there's always something about the HAIR makes you want to burn all your pictures! How century parents were saying, "I can not believe the photographer could not take another 1) either repair or toupee 2) run a comb through !"
As we get older, we set out to find the "perfect" haircut, shampoo, and all kinds of expensive treatments, equipment and accessories! We go through thousands of hairdressers to find someone who can tell us what is best for our hair type. Some of us are slaves to style and must follow the latest celebrity hairstyle, whether it is short, shoulder length, straight, curly, hair extensions, or shaved! Then there's those of us who by our hair, because I never changed my style. There is a whole talk shows emerged from the "beauty", which is always important to change? HAIR!
After all these years (over 50 for me) hair issues, you have to deal with? We're losing your hair, and then find it again, but in places that never expected! It is still too expensive, even though treatments are now looking for paint to hide the gray, and hot oil treatments to try to keep it from drying out so much. However, the most precious tools are your own tweezers and a magnifying mirror! Most of us have found at least one dreaded "chin hair", while others suffer with an unacceptable amount of facial hair (and even "unmentionable" places), forcing us to another expensive search for a solution! What are the options? Electrolosis? Waxing? Shaving? For me it means an expensive, painful, or "five shadow! Plucking seems to be the most acceptable solution for me, but it's still not the answer for every situation.
The most common type of hair loss in women is female pattern thinning, known medically as androgenetic alopecia (genetic, diffuse hair loss). But there are many other reasons for female hair loss, including menopause and related hormonal imbalances, postpartum / stress-related spills, chemotherapy, and Alopecia areata (hair loss dots). Some hair loss is actually self-induced: use harsh chemical relaxers (Scarring Alopecia), or tight hair braiding (Traction Alopecia) can permanently damage the hair follicle
.Some prescription drugs and cause hair loss. In addition, between 4 million and 8 million women in America have varying degrees of trichotillomania (chronic hair pulling), obsessive-compulsive disorder that can cause permanent damage to the hair follicle.
