Many models and actors feel that one or all of this is to prevent their success?
Permanent actor, entertainer or model to deal with many unknown factors, such as, why do things happen quickly in my career? Who is slowing down my career? Why can not I get the role when I'm running great? Why I do not go out on more auditions?
In order for you to get where you want to go ask yourself these questions.
1 - I need to update my picture / resume / reel.
2 - Maybe I should go to the workshop casting director to get one-on-one time with the casting director.
3 - Maybe I should ask my agency for instructions on what to do next. I recently did an audition for my agent?
4 - Perhaps we need to do something else on my technique and look at what the various modeling and acting classes have to offer.
5 - Maybe the old hair style or look I have is not working now.
6 - Maybe I'm supposed to be marketing differently.
7 - Maybe we need to understand that you do not look the same as I did at 18 as I am now in and apply for age appropriate activities.
8 - Do I really understand how business works?
9 - Did you stay involved and proactive, or am I just sitting back and waiting for what will happen
Instead of doing the things you can control many actors and models play the blame game.
Example: If a casting director just does not really like me, or this person is just a racist / sexist / ageist and do not wish to risk, or all clients want the tall, skinny models, etc.
It's natural to sometimes make the wrong assumptions, it protects us when we feel weak and can not change, either due to financial conditions or lack of motivation
.Over the years it seems a really successful talent will take a hard look at yourself first and try not to play the blame game very often.
Thus, some courage and look at some of the things that can change!
